Art, Inclusion & Transformation
Where sentimentality, creation & environmentalism meet.
Contemplative (re)Purposing is a therapeutic intervention & empathetic mode of visual art committed to incorporating into each piece the valuable--& yet often overlooked--thoughts, feelings, persons, and materials; giving to these assets--& therefore myself and those participating--the time and attention necessary for transformation.
This environmentally conscious art and alternative style of keep-sake-ing strives to use ninety+ percent reused, recycled, and neglected materials for the construction of each piece. A percentage of the reused materials include a person's intentionally contributed mementos, ephemera, and written contemplations.
